Our 18-hole championship golf course is one of the best kept secrets of North Georgia.

Cartersville Country Club is committed to providing a wide variety of tournaments, clinics, and special golf activities for our members throughout the year such as The Member-Guest, The Club Championship, an Invitational Tournament, and a Junior Club Championship. A very active MGA, LGA, and Senior Golf group sponsor tournaments and outings on a weekly basis. Other events include, Twilight Golf on Friday evenings, Couples Tournaments and monthly playdays. Senior Golf Days are Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Tee times are accepted 7 days in advance, Tuesdays – Sundays.

Scott Hamilton Golf Academy

Cartersville Country Club is home to the Scott Hamilton Golf Academy. Scott has been at Cartersville Country Club for nearly 30 years and has become a world-renowned instructor. When cameras were introduced in teaching back in the 90’s, Scott recognized this as an invaluable tool and is now recognized by the industry as a leader in golf instruction technology.

Scott is ranked by Golf Digest as one of the Top 50 Instructors in the United States and is on Golf Magazine’s List of Top 100 Instructors. He is also recognized on The Golf Channel as a “Top Five Instructor in the Game.” he has been coaching professionals that have won 15 PGA Tour Events, 13 Korn Ferry and 2 Senior Tour Events. Scott is currently teaching eight players on the PGA tour.

Fun fact: While competing in the PGA’s Pro-Assistant Championship at Cherokee Town & Country Club, Scott made two holes-in-one during the same round. The odds of this are a reported 67 million to one. He should have bought a lottery ticket that day!
